Words

Yesterday I was sitting outside during Malachi's nap just taking in the beautiful day. Jayda came out to join me carrying an armful of barbies. As she came over to me she said,

"Look, mom, I brought all my barbies outside. I was hoping you would like to play with me."

First of all, how could you ever say no to such a request? Secondly, I was surprised, yet again, by the incredible way she has of communicating. This little three year old fireball sounds so grown up at times with her words. So I giggled to myself and picked up Ken for another afternoon of barbie play.
