We ventured out for a week of family holidays this past August. The week consisted of all things kids focused- swimming, walking, playgrounds and ice cream! It was an exhausting week. The kind where you long for a holiday after the holiday:) but we dubbed it 'family fun' and embraced the memories we made with the kids.
Sand was the greatest part of the holiday because it required little energy but hours of fun.
I'm not sure where Jayda learned this move from:)
It looks like they must be getting really wet but both kids are standing on the other side of the sprinkler. One of the kids highlights was the splash pad. It had a huge crocodile to climb and you didn't even have to get wet.....side note, both kids hate getting wet!
Along for the ride
At the end of a very long day of heat and playing.
Getting a bit braver in the water. On day one both kids had their arms tightly wrapped around our necks.
The hot tub was definitely Malachi's preference.
Desperately trying to get her wet
We also spend half a morning mini golfing. The view was stunning overlooking Lake Okanagan and everyone had a blast.
Didn't realize I changed a setting on my camera by accident. Kind of a funky colour but I like it.
Proof that we are still a couple, on this holiday together!
Ebony lived in my Sleepy Wrap all week. She barely made a peep she was so happy.
We also went bowling at this awesome bowling alley. It recognizes when the player needs the bumpers up and automatically puts them there for you.
Malachi didn't often have patience to stand and watch his ball make it down the lane. It was going S-L-O-W.
Now that is some tasty ice cream. Devoured and enjoyed!
