Moooo

A couple of weeks ago Malachi and I got to tag along with Jayda and her preschool to a local dairy farm.  It was our first field trip so it was extremely exciting!  We started off with a tour of the barns, then had a hay ride around the property and finished off at the playground with fresh ice cream.  It was a fun morning for the kids and really nice to get out and enjoy some sun.

Upon waking up each morning Jayda gets herself dressed in an outfit of her choosing.  Note that today (morning at the farm) she chose a lace dress and leopard print tights.  I asked her is she was sure she wanted to go to the barns so fancy and she insisted that yes, in fact she did!  Love it.

Of course the calves were the highlight for most of the kids.  A little less intimidating and we were allowed to feed them so that made it even better.

This guy took charge and seemed to lead the preschool for most of the morning.  I had a hard time taking pictures because I was always chasing after Malachi and trying to slow him down to wait for the group.

Checking out the big cows with buddy, Lincoln.

Still sportin' the forehead gash.  Yeah, its going on about six months!

Happy to be out of the barns and free to breathe again:)

Little sweeties gathering for their first group shot.

Calvin Klein riding the hay.  Who'd have thought?!
