This post was started last Tuesday but for some reason kept getting abandoned and never finished until now...
On Monday of the August long weekend we decided to pack up and spend the day at White Rock. We had a great time playing in the sand, eating at the Boathouse on the deck overlooking the ocean and spending time together. This has turned into one of our favourite day trips as a family.
Jayda enjoyed digging, filling up buckets, and finding treasures with daddy. Check out those lashes!
We didn't end up walking the pier this time but usually we pick up a gelato and stroll. We just aren't in 'strolling' mode these days:)
It wasn't a really hot day but the sun was beating down on us so I had to cover Malachi up to keep his sweet skin from burning.

Horay for the photographer who keeps us up to date on life at the Bracewells...looks like you have found a really "fun" way to spend a family day. Those are quite the lashes Miss J. Malachi looks like he is just chillin and enjoying the day.
