Friday, December 26

We had a fun Christmas this year as Jayda was older and could really be involved in all the events of the season. Church was cancelled, due to all the snow, so we headed over to grandma and grandpa's on Christmas Eve to start the celebrations. We ate, sang carols, ate some more, hung out and then headed to bed. We decided to spend the night so that we could stay in our jammies and just walk up the stairs for our morning traditions. After everyone arrived we opened presents and ate wifesaver (a Christmas must!). We headed home for some down time and then returned for turkey dinner.

Eyeing up the table of food

I really wanted a sweet picture of Jayda in her Christmas dress but she wasn't interested. You may think she is singing carols when in fact she is saying "NO" quite adamantly!

Prior to opening gifts grandma told the Christmas story

Playing with her very own twin babies. I think they will be dubbed 'Kennedy and India':) They came with a stroller, carriage and swing....too cute!

Enjoying that yummy wifesaver

Trying on every possible stocking item

Keeping busy with playdough.

On boxing day we gave Jayda a few small gifts: a tea set, dish set and miniature cutlery set. She has played with it all day!
